Analytical reading of the literary text on the primary level of learning English as the means of teaching reading could foster motivation and great results in case of correct and accurate application. Starting from the early age the determination of theme, idea, problem and differentiation between main and minor characters, style and figures of speech develop analytical skills of young learners and prepare them for further comprehension and interpretation of fiction and poetry in English. Reading becomes not the routine task but the research work aimed on young learners’ personality self-actualization. There are several steps of analytical reading process:

-Author and the literary piece in world culture and literature, screen versions and cartoons in the form of presentation(MPP or other), wall-paper, poster and etc.;

 -Full title in English with the translation into native language in the written form;

 -General characteristics of literary piece: genre, language, narrator, tense in the written form;

-Setting: time and place in the form of mind-map or other;

-Action: rising action, climax, falling action , using the graphic organizers;

-Characters: major characters, minor characters with description and traits of character;

-Theme, idea, problem using graphic organizers or mind-maps;

-Symbols in the form of drawing or mind map;

-Quotations of characters or author in the form of presentation of any kind;

-100-words summary, orally or in the written form.
